Beta terms

Effective October 11, 2026.

The short version

  • The beta is free, it's a test version and it may fail. Use it with Git and backups.
  • It works with your own Claude Code and your own Claude account. You follow Anthropic's rules, and whatever you spend with Anthropic, Anthropic bills to you.
  • Review what the agents do before you accept it: you're responsible for what goes into your projects.
  • Your code and your data are yours. IronDeck doesn't send them to us; Claude Code sends Anthropic what it needs to work.
  • The beta may change or end at any time, and the final version may have a price.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Wladimir Diaz ("IronDeck", "we" or "us") about the beta version of the IronDeck program (the "beta"). You accept them by installing or using the beta, or by accepting them in the program. If you use it on behalf of a company, you confirm you can accept them for it. The Privacy notice also applies and, for the site, the Website terms of use.

2. Who can take part

To use the beta you need:

  • to be 18 or older;
  • a Windows PC;
  • Claude Code installed and signed in to your own Claude account, on a plan that includes Claude Code;
  • to be in a country where Anthropic offers its services and where U.S. export and sanctions laws don't prohibit it.

We choose who joins the beta and when, and we may limit the number of participants.

3. License

For the duration of the beta, we give you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to install and use IronDeck on your own computers, for your projects, including work projects.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the program or its installer; remove its proprietary notices; decompile or reverse engineer it, except to the extent the law allows despite this restriction; or get around its technical limits. IronDeck and everything it's made of belong to us; this license doesn't transfer any ownership to you. Open-source components included in IronDeck are governed by their own licenses, which prevail over these restrictions where they apply.

4. It's a test version

The beta is incomplete and may have errors, stop, lose work, use more of your plan or extra usage than expected, or change without notice. We may add, change or remove features. Use it on projects with version control (Git) and backups, not on the only copy of anything important, and not on systems where a failure could harm people or property.

5. Your Claude account and Anthropic's rules

IronDeck isn't Anthropic's and isn't affiliated with it. It uses the official Claude Code installation you already have, unmodified, with the session you signed in to. IronDeck doesn't ask for your Claude password or credentials and never sends them to us.

You are responsible for following the Anthropic terms that apply to your account (the Consumer Terms or the Commercial Terms) and its Usage Policy. Pro and Max plan limits assume ordinary, individual use, as Anthropic defines it. At a minimum, don't use IronDeck to share an account with other people or to resell Claude usage to them.

Anthropic decides what your plan covers, how much you can use and how automated use of Claude Code counts, and it may change this at any time; it may also limit or suspend accounts. We don't control those decisions and aren't responsible for them, and we don't guarantee that IronDeck will stay compatible with your plan or with future versions of Claude Code.

6. Costs

The beta costs you nothing on our side. Today, under Anthropic's rules, the work IronDeck asks of Claude Code uses your plan's limits; Anthropic may change how that usage is counted or billed. If you turn on your account's extra usage, Anthropic bills it directly to you. IronDeck's caps, such as the weekly cap and, once available, the spending cap, are aids, not a guarantee: they may fail or kick in late. Set spending limits in your Anthropic account too. We aren't responsible for charges from Anthropic or other third parties.

7. What IronDeck does on your PC

IronDeck runs Claude Code, which can read and write files and run commands according to the permissions you set for each step. Each task works in a copy of your project, and its changes reach your project only when you approve them. Even so, commands you allow can have effects outside that copy, such as publishing code or installing packages.

Before approving, review what the agents did: AI output can contain errors, security flaws or parts resembling other people's code. You decide what you accept, publish or use, and you're responsible for it and for complying with the law and any applicable licenses.

8. Your code and your data

Your projects and your code are yours, and we claim no rights over what your tasks produce. We don't guarantee that AI output can be protected by copyright or that it's free of third-party rights. IronDeck keeps its state on your PC and doesn't send us your code, your projects or usage data; the details are in the Privacy notice.

9. Feedback and reports

It helps a lot when you tell us what breaks and what you'd improve. If you send us ideas, reports or suggestions, we may use them freely to improve IronDeck, without paying or crediting you. If you attach logs or screenshots, first remove passwords, keys, code you don't want to share and other people's data.

You may talk about your experience and publish screenshots and opinions about the beta. Don't share the installer or the test builds: each person gets them from us.

10. Installation and updates

Download IronDeck only from the link we send you. During the beta, the installer may not be digitally signed and Windows may show a SmartScreen warning.

IronDeck checks GitHub for updates and may install them while the program is closed. Some may be required to keep using the beta. If an update fails, IronDeck tries to roll back to the previous version, but we can't guarantee it.

11. End of the beta

We may end the beta or your participation at any time; we'll try to give you notice in advance. You can leave whenever you want by uninstalling the program. When it ends, the license in section 3 ends too, and whatever is on your PC remains yours.

The final version of IronDeck may have a price and other conditions. Taking part in the beta doesn't entitle you to get it free or at a discount, unless we expressly announce it.

12. No warranties

The beta is provided "as is" and "as available", with all its faults. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that IronDeck will work without errors or interruptions, keep your data, respect usage or spending caps, be free of viruses or other harmful code, or that what the agents produce will be correct or secure.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages; for loss of data, code, work, profits or opportunities; for charges from Anthropic or other third parties; or for the limitation or suspension of your Claude account, even if we were warned of that possibility. Our total liability for any claim related to the beta will not exceed US$50. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

14. Misuse

If you use IronDeck to break the law, other people's rights or Anthropic's terms, and that leads to a claim against us, you'll cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

15. Export and sanctions

You may not use, export or re-export IronDeck in violation of the export control and sanctions laws of the United States or of other countries that apply.

16. Governing law, changes and other conditions

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without applying its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, unless the law of your country lets you bring a claim in the courts where you live. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Before any claim, write to us: we'll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll ask you to accept it in the program; if you don't accept it, stop using the beta. Earlier versions remain in the repository's public history. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing something at one point doesn't mean we waive it. Sections 8, 9 and 12 to 16 survive the end of the beta. We may assign these terms to whoever continues the project; you may not assign them without our permission. These terms and the Privacy notice are the entire agreement about the beta. They exist in Spanish and English, and both versions are equally valid; if they differ, the reading more favorable to you applies.
